A Case Of The Mondays

But in this case, it ROCKS! We had a great weekend. Met lots of wonderful people, and the Beckley's Backyard Blackberry Vinaigrette was debuted to rave reviews. I spent Saturday afternoon with fine folks at Goose The Market for one of their Producer Day's. Thank you to Chris and Mollie for having me. I'm looking forward to doing it again this fall.
The farmer's markets are winding down. Don't forget about Farm Fresh Delivery for all your local grocery needs through the lean months of October-April.

Joe toots CmCm's horn! Come see us August 9th from 1-4

Joe's Butcher Shop & Fish Market hosts Erin Edds, owner of Country Mouse City Mouse as she shares samples of her wonderful (and we means WONDERFUL!) compound butters and secret sauces this Saturday, August 9th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
"These products will change the way you grill and eat! Great chefs are always looking to layer flavor upon flavor to create fresh new tastes. This line of compound butters and unique marinades are made with THE FINEST natural and organic ingredients producing complex flavors five, six and seven layers deep. I've used these products on Joe's Fish Market Fresh King Salmon (Jezibel Sauce), My Dad's Sweet Corn and Joe's Amish Chicken (Pecan Chipotle Butter), Joe's Fish Market Fresh Swordfish Steaks (Sunflower Butter), and Joe's Reserve Flat Iron Steaks (Blue Cheese and Balsamic Reduction Butter.) This is one handcrafted product that I don't mind paying a bit more for, simply unbelievable!"
-Joe Lazzara (owner of Joe's Butcher Shop)

Indiana Artisan Development Project

Yep, that's right! We're now certifiable (shut up Stephen). Country Mouse City Mouse's very own Tally Ho! Dressing has been accepted into the Indiana Artisan Development Project. This is a very exicting time for us, and hopefully this will launch Country Mouse City Mouse into a level that will prevent me from having to look for a part-time job this fall when market season is over. I'm trying to busy myself with new projects, including getting our stuff on the shelves at Bloomingfoods, and would love any recommendations of places you'd like to see our products.
More information on the Indiana Artisan Development Project can be found at www.in.gov/indianaartisan

MORE NEW LOCATIONS!!!!!

We've decided NOT to do the Wednesday market, based on the fact that we've picked up TWO more locations that will be stocking our products. Joe's Butcher Shop in Carmel will have Tally Ho! Dressing, Blackberry Poplar Vinaigrette, as well as Sunny Day Butter, Candied Pecan Chipotle HoneyButter, and Bleu Bistro Butter. Kincaid's Meat Market at 56th and Illinois will have Sunny Day Butter and the 2 dressings.
Thanks Guys! We couldn't do it without you!
